Length of Visit

The Museum site covers 25 acres, so at least two hours is recommended, although a day can easily be spent exploring the attractions within the Museum. Most visitors spend half a day with us.

During inclement weather there is plenty to see inside the many buildings. Come prepared with a waterproof and umbrella if wet weather is forecast. Most of the site has concrete or tarmac paths.
In the colder winter months wear warm clothing, and appropriate footwear is recommended at all times.
