When your group needs a day out, we'll give them a day to remember!
Take a step back in time...
Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is home to one of the largest collections of steam locomotives, carriages and wagons in the country.
Displayed at our spacious 25 acre site, you may wander at leisure amongst the giants of the steam age or request the help of one of our friendly experienced guides to show you around.
Rewley Road Visitor Centre - A link with the past...
Many of our displays are under cover some in our 150 year old "new" Visitor Centre. This building skillfully moved brick by brick from the centre of Oxford was first opened in 1851.
Built in the same manner as the ill-fated Great Exhibition building - "the Crystal Palace" it is unique in its construction and will fascinate all with an interest in historic buildings.
Take a Train Ride...
The highlight of your visit will probably be a ride behind one of our full sized steam engines and on the extensive miniature railway system. With all the evocative, sights, sounds and smells of the steam age 'the years' will roll back as you ride.
Enjoying our superb visitor facilities...
Our facilities for visitors are comprehensive with ample free car parking and coach parking. Excellent disabled access, a spacious refreshment room and well stocked gift and book shops. All this set in delightful countryside with excellent motorway links.
A great day whatever the weather. |
